Winter 2011
The sequel to DESERT PLACES and LOCKED DOORS, a novella called BREAK YOU, is now available in the Kindle store. Here's the link.
Here's the scoop:
Somehow, Luther Kite has found them.
Finally, the next installment in the Andrew Z. Thomas tetralogy (means 4 books (I had to look it up))...
Following the events of DESERT PLACES and LOCKED DOORS, Andy Thomas and Violet King are hiding out in the wilds of northern Canada, where Violet has a four-month-old son and a burgeoning romance with Andy. On a cold, rainy night at their cabin in the woods, the promise of an idyllic life that seems just around the corner is shattered when a man from their past, a monster of pure malevolence, returns. What he has in store for them will challenge their understanding of evil and stretch the fibers of their love to the breaking point.
BREAK YOU will be available on other platforms, (Nook, Sony, Apple, etc.) in the coming week, and in print within two months.
It's been a long time coming to finish up this series, and there is still one more book in the pipeline to complete it, a novel called STIRRED which I'm writing with J.A. Konrath and will be out late 2011. STIRRED will conclude both my DESERT PLACES/LOCKED DOORS series and J.A.'s Det. Jack Daniels series.
There's a lot more news to share, and that's coming in the next month, but I wanted to let everyone know about BREAK YOU since it just went live.
Finally, things are changing fast in the publishing world as ebooks rise in prominence. I would be very interested to hear how many of you own e-readers, whether a Kindle, Nook, Sony, etc. Email me at blakecrouch1@yahoo.com.
Thanks, and happy winter!
Best,
Blake
